Subject: Stockholm Syndrome Is Amazing
Great recording and a great show. I saw Jerry Joseph & Eric McFadden tour together somewhere in 2002-2004. They played two nights at Winston's and ended up sitting in together for most of the shows (A little hazy on the memory) if I remember right.

I was stoked to see them shred then and I'm stoked to see it again. I'm doing the whole California run in March so maybe I'll see you at the Independent taping those shows.

Subject: its ridiculous...
that this band is flying so low under the radar. it would be sad if it weren't so hilariously ironic.
these are some of the finest, most talented musicians of our times...for real this IS a supergroup...the sum of the whole is greater than that of its parts. how can a band that plays together so infrequently be so tight? play so perfectly off of one another? mindboggling.
i'd heard that jerry considers the new ss material the strongest he has ever penned. i'll hold off on judging that statement for now, but i will say that this is a new direction and that if you thought you knew everything there is to know about jj's songwriting prepare to be surprised. apollo is a masterpiece, and it is perfect for this band.
to the show: played with a lot of energy and punch and fairly polished from band rehearsals. the recent stumbles over songs like shining path and tight are mostly gone and the other old stand-by's are just ripping. ltt and llw are always welcome additions and the conscious contact encore is pretty epic.
to the quality: one of the finest pulls i've ever heard. lex, you are the man. i couldn't be present but you gave me the gift of being able to hear what i missed. maximum respect.
jerry, dave, eric, wally, and danny thank you. now let's have the real tour these songs deserve.

Notes

Jerry Joseph - guitar, vox
Dave Schools - bass
Wally Ingram - drums
Danny Louis - keys
Eric McFadden - guitar
